The Beady App is developed and provided by Beady System ApS, 6000 Kolding, Denmark, CVR-no. 38989391 (hereafter "Beady System," "we," "us," or "our").

The Beady App is a creative sanctuary for children and those young at heart. Users can immerse themselves in bead projects—alone or with others—using digital tools such as Beady Drawing Program and Beady Bead Camera. Beady blends physical and digital play, providing a break from everyday stress and digital algorithms. Our goal is to foster creativity, calmness, and community in children's lives—one bead at a time.

1. Creating a User Profile

To use the Beady App, you must create a personal user profile with your email address and a password of your choosing.

Your user profile is personal, and you are responsible for all activity conducted through it. If you suspect misuse of your profile, contact us immediately at hello@beady.fun.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a user profile. By creating a profile, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If you wish to delete your profile, please send an email to hello@beady.fun. Be aware that all data and content—including purchased designs and Beady Coins—will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Guidelines for sharing user-created designs in Beady App:

Users can share their own designs on the Beady platform. We love seeing your creativity but require all designs to adhere to our guidelines. Beady is child-friendly, and it should always feel safe and welcoming.

2. Supported Devices and System Requirements

For the best Beady App experience, we recommend using a tablet or smartphone with a minimum screen size of 4.7 inches.

Beady App supports these operating systems:

Apple iOS: Version 13.0 or later.
Android: Version 7.0 (Nougat) or later.

We recommend keeping your operating system updated for optimal functionality and security.

Internet access is required to use the app's features.

3. Beady Coins and In-App Purchases

In the Beady App, you can purchase Beady Coins, granting access to selected designs, premium features, and additional content within the app. Purchases are straightforward, safe, and clearly priced before you decide.

How Beady Coins Work:

Unlock larger designs (requiring multiple boards), user-created design packs, and special features not freely accessible.
Beady Coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or used outside the Beady universe.
Buying Beady Coins is a one-time payment and does not activate any subscription.

Right of Withdrawal:

EU law typically provides a 14-day withdrawal period on digital purchases, but by buying Beady Coins, you accept this right expires as soon as the content is accessible after payment.

Upon profile deletion:
Deleting your profile results in losing all Beady Coins and access to purchased content without compensation.

4. Beady+ Membership

Beady+ offers full access to the entire Beady universe, whether you use Beady boards or your own bead boards.

With Beady+, you get:

Unlimited access to all designs in the Beady App.
Free access to Beady Photo Program and Beady Drawing Program, regardless of design size.
Ability to bead with both Beady boards and your own boards.

Beady+ is a monthly subscription without commitment and can be canceled anytime. When your membership expires, you retain designs you've created yourself. However, designs larger than 6 boards (Drawing Program) or 9 boards (Photo Program) require purchase with Beady Coins or reactivation of membership to continue usage.

5. Changes to the App and Terms

We continuously enhance the Beady App to provide better creative opportunities and community experiences. Therefore, we may occasionally adjust features, design, and content.

If we make significant changes to the Terms, you'll be notified—either within the app or via your registered email—30 days prior to implementation.

Changes will not affect your existing purchases, designs, or access rights. Ensure your contact details are current.

6. Rights and Ownership

Creativity thrives with mutual respect for rights and efforts.

All content in the Beady App—including designs, illustrations, graphics, photos, and texts—is created by us or our partners and is protected by copyright.

Purchased or downloaded content grants you private use rights only—not for commercial purposes, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.

Your own designs:
Designs you create privately remain private. Sharing publicly grants Beady a global, perpetual, non-exclusive right to display them publicly within the app and for marketing purposes.

We reserve the right to remove public designs violating our guidelines (Section 7).

7. Guidelines for User Designs

We strive for Beady App to remain safe and creative. The following guidelines apply when sharing designs publicly:

7.1 Hate Symbols and Discriminatory Content: Prohibited.
7.2 Copyright Violations: Prohibited; notify us of infringements.
7.3 Nudity and Sexual Content: Prohibited.
7.4 Violent and Threatening Content: Prohibited; fantasy or historical weapons allowed in a creative, non-threatening context.
7.5 Bullying or Harassing Behavior: Prohibited.

8. Personal Data and Privacy

Your trust and privacy are crucial.

We collect only essential data (e.g., email, purchases, saved designs) to optimize your experience. Data is confidential, never shared without consent.

9. Camera Access

The app uses your device camera exclusively for:

Beady Photo Program: converting photos into bead designs.
QR code scanning for accessing designs.

Your photos are private, never shared externally, and are fully under your control.

10. Notifications

Notifications remind you of unfinished designs, inform about new features, and provide creative inspiration. Enable or disable in your app settings.

11. Using Beady on Multiple Devices

Use the app across multiple devices within your household without restriction. Sharing your account outside your household is prohibited.

12. Applicable Law

Danish law governs app usage and these terms. Unresolved disputes will be handled by Danish courts.

Residents in other EU countries retain applicable consumer rights.

13. Relations with App Stores

Your agreement is solely with Beady System, not Apple or Google. We manage content and support directly.
